How soon will I receive my order?
The time it takes to process your order depends on the type of order you made. If you are purchasing notecards or accessories that are NOT personalized or customized, it will usually take 2 to 3 business days to process your order before shipping. If you are purchasing personalized notecards, accessories, or informal invitations from one of our online catalogs, it may take 4 to 6 business days before your order is shipped. If you are ordering a completely custom, formal invitation suite (not from our online catalogs), your order may take 4 to 6 weeks to process before shipping, especially if your order is very large. We carefully handcraft all products to ensure quality and satisfaction and of course, we try to ship as soon as possible. What payment options are available?

We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, as well as payments from banking accounts. We use Paypal to process all payments, however, you do not need a Paypal account to make a purchase. When you check out, you will be redirected to our secure Paypal checkout to make payment. As a result, we at Dogwood Blossom Stationery never have access to your credit card, bank account, or Paypal account information.

How do you ship and what are your shipping rates?
We ship using US Priority and Express Mail. As you probably already know, USPS postage and shipping rates recently increased, and therefore, so have our shipping rates. We also add $0.65 for delivery confirmation to ensure that your package arrives. For a typical order, Priority mail postage plus delivery confirmation is $5.25; for Express mail, it is $20.15.

If you need alternative shipping options (UPS or FedEx), please contact us and we'll work something out.

Can I see how my name looks in a font before I buy?
Sure! Just email us with your name and up to four fonts that you're deciding between and we'd be happy to send you a pdf so you can see what it looks like.

I'm sending a gift- can I include a gift card or gift wrap?

Yes. In fact, your order already comes with those things! We wrap all of our orders in white tissue with a ribbon and include a little gift tag. If you want to include your own message on the gift tag, just put a note in the comments box on the order page similar to this: "Please include tag that reads: Thanks for being a great friend! Love, Mary." Please keep your message fairly short (2 to 3 lines)! If you do not include a message in the comments box and you are shipping to a person other than yourself, we will put the message, "From (your name here)" on the card.

Why should I choose Dogwood Blossom for my personal stationery or event stationery?
Thank you for asking! Unlike retailers or catalogs, Dogwood Blossom carefully hand-crafts stationery and accessories using fine papers (many of which are also handmade) and adornments. When you purchase a product from us for personal use or as a gift, you know you are receiving a one-of-a-kind product of impressive quality. Moreover, we are a small business and can offer one-on-one assistance with customized goods, questions, or problems. We truly appreciate every single client, whether they order a set of 8 notecards or a suite of 400 invitations.

What is your return policy?
Personalized or customized items are unfortunately not returnable. Items that are not personalized can be returned for a refund as long as the item and packaging is in sellable condition upon return. We strongly recommend that you call or email us before returning an item to make sure it is returnable. Please include your receipt or packing slip when returning an item, as well as the reason for return. You are responsible for return shipping costs.

For personalized items, we are not responsible for your typos or errors when ordering and cannot offer a refund for items that are incorrect based on your error. However, if Dogwood Blossom makes a mistake on your personalized item, please let us know and we will re-process your order at no cost to you.

What is your privacy policy?

We do not sell any of your email, address, or phone number information. We use the information you provide strictly for the purposes of processing your order. In addition, in the occasional case of sales or "frequent shopper" specials, we may send a postcard or email to let you know what's going on. If you receive a postcard or an email and you want to opt out of future mailings, just email us and let us know. In terms of credit card safety, please read our payment information.

Do you offer wedding and formal invitations?
We are working diligently to introduce a line of beautiful and intriguing wedding invitations that meet the needs of engaged couples looking for extraordinary and unique wedding stationery. We intend to offer coordinating favors/favor packing, programs, seating cards, table numbers, and menus as well! In the meantime, we're more than willing to help you bring your stationery ideas to life- see below for details on how we can help.

I have a unique wedding theme and would like to discuss custom invitations. How can I do that and about how much do custom invitations cost?
We're so happy you asked! You can contact us by phone or email to initiate a no-cost conversation about custom wedding invitations or accessories. Your design rep will ask you questions about your vision for the wedding, color scheme, location, and possible themes, so be prepared to discuss those topics. The cost of custom invitations can vary widely depending on the types of paper used and the amount of detail on each invitation. For a simple yet elegant card with few adornments, the cost can be relatively low ($2 to $4 per invitation). For invitations using high-cost papers and with lots of detail, the cost can be much higher ($4 or more per invitation). Of course, if you have already set a budget for your invitation suite, we can work with you to design something that's perfect for you as well as your budget.

Once we set a budget and have a good idea of what you want, we'll create a prototype for your review. Once you receive the prototype, we can discuss any changes you would like to make. There is a $30 deposit for the prototype to cover material expenses, design time, labor, and shipping. If you decide to order your invitation suite from Dogwood Blossom, $30 will be subtracted from your total order. However, if you choose not to order your invitation suite from Dogwood Blossom, the $30 deposit is non-refundable.

Do you offer letterpress or engraving services?
At this time, we do not offer in-house letterpress or engraving services. However, if you are interested in having your invitations or notecards letterpressed or engraved we are willing to work with outside vendors. Please understand these printing services are expensive and will therefore increase the cost of your invitation suite considerably, as well as lengthen process time before shipping.

Unfortunately, we currently do not have space to allow clients to visit. We hope to open a client-friendly studio in the near future.
